Will you print copyrighted or trademarked materials?

Short answer: Yes, as long as you have permission from the owner of the copyright or trademark owner.

If you have obtained legal rights to print a trademarked image or copyrighted material, you or your business entity would have signed a contract for a license agreement directly from the trademark owner.  In order to print these logos, we ask that you please provide us with the proper documentation.  Six Thirteen Originals, LLC., reserves the right to request documentation of this permission at any time, regardless of previous order history.

We commonly flag images or logos that are perceived to be trademarked or copyrighted in order to protect our valued customers from legal complications associated with the unauthorized resale of such material.  Images that are trademarked and works that are copyrighted are considered to be intellectual property with the exclusive use assumed and granted to the trademark/copyright owner. This property is often protected under state, federal and international trademark/copyright law.  Many trademark/copyright laws are held specifically with restrictions on the reproduction and resale of apparel.

Exceptions- Exceptions may be made for parody art or for jobs claiming personal use of the image.  (not for resale or financial gain) These exceptions are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.  We cannot guarantee you will be permitted to print each time or at all.   Limitations will vary by an individual's perception of parody art or personal use rights.  Additionally, we reserve the right to refuse to print any design considered to be in poor taste or offensive.

But wait, I purchased this logo online- Purchasing art from online artists/vendors is not considered legal permission to print images for resale purposes.  These works of art are often intended for digital or web-based use, in which the "fair use" exception applies.  Any image that appears to be trademarked requires written, legal permission from the trademark owner to be used for financial gain.  613 Originals cannot be held accountable for any financial loss due to third-party purchases of digital artwork.
